Aligarh:
A number of unnamed individuals have been booked for providing namaz outdoors two mosques within the previous metropolis space in violation of prohibitory orders on Eid final week, police stated on Friday.
Metropolis Superintendent Police Kuldeep Singh Gunawat informed the media that clerics had assured the district authorities forward of Eid that nobody shall be allowed to supply prayers on roads outdoors mosques.
“Regardless of such assurances numerous folks provided prayers on the highway outdoors the Eidgah floor below Delhi Gate Police Station and one other mosque in a locality below Kotwali police station,” stated the officer, including, the FIRs have been lodged on April 26.
Police are reviewing video footage of the day to establish those that participated within the outdoors prayers.
Earlier police in Kanpur stated they’ve booked greater than 2,000 folks on related fees in three FIRs.
